The sheep last hours

Ok just after few hours the sheep we bought is going to leave this world as its meat is going to be distributed on the poor and the needed plus some parts we will take as the tradition in Islammoonblacksheep

We bought our sheep on Tuesday from a yard beside the famous Lebanon Square in Mohendanssin area , a big yard full of sheeps ,lambs and even goats as some love their meat

The yard was big , and it was covered by an Egyptian kind of tent in order to protect the sheeps from rain and cold The selling processweather ,last week was a rainy one ,well it is expected that from Sunday we have rains again "you can see it in the image, I am sorry for the lighting but I couldn't use the flash because I didn't want to be the center of attention ,Egyptians feel awkward when another Egyptian has a camera and keeps taking photographs plus I didn't want to cause for the sheeps troubles because of the flash"

Here you can see in the photo also the tent and the process of weighting the sheep in which is the base of the pricing process

Of course the bargain doesn't stop in weighting because it usually starts with a big price then goes down and down ,of course it depends on your intelligence and persistence

To buy a sheep ,you must see its health, hair, fats and of course above all meat

Some like the fatty sheep ,of course it is not healthy but what can you say about the Egyptians' bad food habits

Usually that's the season of sheep and thus all the year the Shepherds feed them alot to be in perfect shape in order to have more price in the feast

"You can see them eating here"Eating to be fat

The smell of course was terrible there , already the area near the Sudan street got several Yards ,so you can imagine the smell smile_sick

I know from a friend who used to invest his money in the sheep raising, that the good ones are raised in Fayoum and in Marsa Matrouh , by the way the sheep raising is very profitable ,it is something funny or dump as some may think or already are thinking , my friend got good money from itmoney

Come the best industry ,the most profitable industry in Egypt is the food industry plate

We bought the sheep and returned home , this sheep 's year is quiet may be because of the cold terrible weather or may be it is quiet because he knows it is its last hours

Anyhow you can check the rest of the images in my Flickr gallery

I should have written this from two days but it is never too late

As you may know or may not know James Brown, the god father of the soul music died on the 24th of December in his country the United Statessmile_sad

Brown is famous for many songs especially "I feel good"smile_teeth

Yet my favorite song for him is "It is a man world" oh boy I love that song especially the part "It would be nothing with a woman or a girl"smile_wink

James Brown made a duet with Egyptian Singer Hakim last year or the year before but it didn't have a success I believe because it is hard to combine the kind of music Brown used to present with the Kind of music Hakim is presenting ,the Egyptian pop folk music music_note

Muhammad: A Prophet for Our Time - Karen Armstrong - Books - Review - New York Times

Muhammad: A Prophet for Our Time - Karen Armstrong - Books - Review - New York Times

It is not the first time that I found Karen Armstrong wrote something about Prophet Muhammad "PBUH" and it won't be the last

It is great in fact to have some one like Armstrong

But the problem is in the article there are some mistakes ,I believe not from Karen Armstrong but from the editor

First Mecca wasn't a Nouveau riche city , it was very rich city since very long time , Mecca took its position since Prophet Ibrahim "Abraham" and Ismail {PBU them} re-built it the Kebbah by the orders of Allah, since then it became very active and rich ,so it wasn't a Nouveau riche ,you want another proof ,you can check the history of Mecca in Pre-Islam when they used to have the poetry festivals , this is not a Nouveau riche city activity

Second about the marriage of Prophet Muhammad "pbuh" from Lady Zeinab , this is not how the things happened ,yes she was married to his servant whom he loved as his son , and that boy or man refused to leave the Prophet Mohamed and for that Prophet Muhammad "PBUH" declared that he adopted him and called him his son ,the son of Mohamed in the community and in the Pre-Islamic period this was an adoption , the man became his son "I am sorry I can't remember the man's name correctly now"

At that point a divine order came from Allah prohibiting adoption , you can love someone like your daughter or son but don't call them on your name or give them the inheritance rights like your children , and this is in order to preserve both the lineage and inheritance rights "Lineage rights to protect from the disasters that would from example if the adopted girl or boy marries his or her real sibling"

To confirm this order , another Divine order came ordering Prophet Muhammad to marry Lady Zeinab who was the wife  of that servant , why ??

To understand this order you must know in Islam it is prohibited the father marriage from his daughter in law and vice versa for the mother and thus to prove that man is not the son in the community not anymore he married his wife because if he were his son he would n't have marry lady Zeinab

It was to confirm the fact that the man wasn't his son anymore

Look there is a misconception in the west that Prophet Muhammad "PBUH" were a womanizer heaven forbids this is a nonsense, each wife of Prophet Muhammad after lady Khadija "PBU them" had a special reason or story behind this marriage

Do you get it ?? Kudos ??

You can order the book from here from Amazon.com

Nagat , after a long time of absence

Nagat , the lady with a soft voice that enchanted millions of Arabs in the last 30  decades

Despite she was a bad actress yet she got a beautiful sad voice that takes away

Nagat quitted the public appearance from couple of years ,I believe her last public appearance was in her sister legendary Soad Hosni's funeral and memorial service

I am not a big fan for her but I like some of her songs

like Bahlam Ma'ak rainbow{I dream with you}

Lola El-Sahr "Mounir once sang in his album red lipstick but you should listen to it from Nagat herself"  moon{If it were not for the sleepless night}

Bashake El-Bahrisland {I love the sea}

Ah Low Tara'f heart{Oh if You know }

and of course her religious song Illahy Ma' Azamk {Oh my God how great you are}

Anyway Nagat appeared for the first time publicly in Dubai in her honoring celebration ,she took an achievement award for her contributions

Check her out

She may look old ,but still got the old beauty

Le Resistance Suez War 1956 "The unforgotten operations" {Must Must read}

The Underground resistance did many amazing operations, I believe the amazement came from the facts that most people who participated in it, were not military and never had a military training except for the boys of the National Guard like Dr. Yahia El-Shaer and Mohamed Maharn. They were like you and me, normal people who were put in extraordinary situation and did extraordinary things for their country, they didn't care for their safety, and they risked everything for what they believed in, from freedom and sovereignty

Today insh Allah, I will share with you some unknown yet important operations to famous ones with the correct details, but the way there are lots and lots of operations yet I chose those, I don't know why but they attracted me

My sources here are mainly two: Port Said online.com and Dr. Yahia El-Shaer valuable Website

1. Not every blonde is a western

Well this is what jumped in my mind after I read that story ,a mix of espionage ,courage and adventure , really those boys and men were too adventurous and that's why the history will remember them

Our hero here is half Egyptian - half European , young Mustafa Mustafa Abd El-Wahab who was 24 years old then "Born in the year 1939" , Mustafa 's father was a captain in the Universal company and he was a close friend to Dr Yahia El- Shaer in the high school. During the war Mustafa had a very big and dangerous assignment which was to spy on the invasion troops , thanks to his European look with his blonde hair and fluent language tongue he got,he wasn't caught. He provided the secret resistance with lots of information about the French and English troops on daily base. His biggest assignment was the 24 hours surveillance he made to the British troops while departure on the 22nd of December, his complete detailed surveillance report was sent immediately to the Egyptian Presidency and General intelligence

Big salute and kiss to Mr. Mustafa Abd El-Wahab where ever he is now ;)

2.It was a great lose to the MI5 and a great victory to the Egyptian Secret Resistance

That is what I said to myself ,it was a big lose to the MI5 when their man in Egypt major John Williams for 25 years got killed in a very simple suicide operation . major Williams worked in Egypt for 25 years ,he spoke not only Arabic fluently but also several Egyptian accents beside learning the Egyptian customs and traditions very well.In the war of 1956 he headed the intelligence service of the British forces in Egypt , yet it wasn't his only assignment his other more dangerous assignment was to track down the secret resistance in Port Said and destroy it , and he succeeded for sometime , of course he wasn't nice with the young resistance members , he used to torture them to get the information. On the 14th of November 1956 Williams was riding a car with colonel Green and a driver when the car stopped by an Egyptian young man who was only 16 years old holding in one hand a paper that looked like a complain and in the other hand what seemed a sandwich , but as soon as Williams opened the car windows to take the complain ,the young man threw a hand grenade in to the car and it exploded in few seconds , killing colonel Green and the driver immediately, while Williams who suffered from bad injuries died in the hospital from the implications as he was a diabetic

The 16 years old man , really he was a man ,was "Said Asran" , a member in the secret resistance ,yet despite his connection to the resistance ,he made this operation individually , the resistance didn't know about this operation at all till it happened , there was no arrangement at all for that operation on the opposite of what is known in Egypt. All the credit goes to"Asran" who did to avenge for his brother murder , from what I think after reading and search that his brother was also in resistance and he may have been caught by Williams and torture to death and that's why it is too personal and dangerous "Asran" didn't care for his life to get William , it was a personal vendetta issue . Already he refused to take the money reward from the resistance commanders and according to Dr. El-Shaer the resistance underestimated his anger "In Arabic" . "Said Asran" died on the 4th of July 2004

A Big salute and prayer on the soul of Said Asran "Please if you are a Muslim ,read on his soul "El-Fataha"

3. The De lessepes' statue operation and El-Shaer family

First before the 24th of December 1956 Port Said had one big statue in city ,the "De Lessep" statue , very big statue that reminds you if you see it with the big statue of Ramses II statue in Cairo or Mustafa Basha Kamal statue in Alexandria ,it was so silly and provoking ,yes "De Lessep" was the man who had the idea of the canal , but who digged it with his own blood and paid his life for it ,the Egyptian, the poor Egyptian worker who digged this canal in the most inhuman work conditions , hundred thousands paid their life because of it , Egypt paid its independence for more than 70 years because of it , and in return nothing was made to remember those who really dig it , the really owners and really builders ,that's why many didn't like the "De Lessep" , a symbol of the western Franco superiority reminding to the Egyptian till that date , of course after the Anglo-Franco attack the city people hated more and more than provoking French statue

On 24th of December ,and it was Monday ,the Egyptians found that one of the soldiers from the departed invasion forces put rudely on the top of the statue The French flag and The GB union jack flag with a French Para troop hat ,it was so rude and provoking , when the Egyptians reached the two flags ,they burned them ,after that there was some kind of a group thinking condition all the people had it around the statue ,it must be destroyed ,they tried but the problem was that it was so huge from bronze

Anyway those angry people weren't alone who thought about this idea of destroying that statue ,an Egyptian Journalist who was in Port Said then though about it before them and even before the departure of Anglo-Franco troops , but of course for such big operation with big implications you need the Cairo permission and thus from El-Shaer family house where the Egyptian wireless unit was hided a coded message was sent to Cairo ,yet the answer didn't come immediately, in fact it came after the major Samir Ghanam ,the commander of this operation made his mind I believe from what I understand even thought the orders came from Cairo prohibiting any revenge attack to the European features of the city above them that statue ,I don't know really what Major Samir was thinking ,but I believe may be the act of the departed Soldiers had did it from putting the flags in a provoking way had its share. Anyway Ghanam acted on his own just like the angry people who gathered on the 24 of December trying to destroy it. But Major Ghanam was lucky than them he got the explosive , and he even chose the man for that mission Young Yahia El-Shaer who didn't complete his 18th year yet {You can see him in the picture here}

Young Yahia didn't want to be alone in that historical mission , he was going to erase the last sign of western imperialism in Egypt then , he should share that glory and thus he asked Ghanam to include his brothers with him , but he only included one brother Abd El-Monam, while his brother Mohamed Hady was on another assignment

And thus the Al-Shaer brothers with black bag full of explosives went to destroy the big statue ,they went and it was a difficult operation

When they arrived they were already an audience about 20 or 30 people from the angry people who tried to destroy the big statue in vain ,so they were spectators who began to watch the two young boys who some of them knew their name trying to bomb that big thing

The problem was that they had to try three times to explode the statue till at last they did it and bombed it

and thus there was no more of the De Lessepes statue

The remaining thing is the base ,while the body De Lessepes is somewhere , it should be put in the museum

Check the story here

Big Salute and a Kiss to El-Shaer brothers

P.S : Today is the Victory Day in Egypt , the national day of Port Said where the last British and French Soldier left Egypt

Le Resistance 1956 in Port Said "The secret resistance"{must must read till the end}

This time I will speak about the secret resistance history and my source here is Dr Yahia El-Shaer book

The secret resistance as I said before the organized one was a cooperation between the people of Port Said and the Egyptian army ,here is what I am sure you don't know

When the assault on Egypt and Port Said happened and from what I think a clever thinking from Nasser and his advisors, President Nasser issued the presidential decree of forming the public under ground resistance , and appointed Abd El-Fatah Abu El-Fadl as the head of it , Abu-Fadl for those who don't know later became the deputy of the head of the Egyptian intelligence, already in that time Zakirah Mohi El-Din ,the head of the Egyptian intelligence ,had another title I found in the documents in Dr. El-Shear Website that was "The general supervisor of resistance across the Arab world " Major Kamal El-Sayed

Gen.Abu El-Fadl was the communication link between Cairo and the people of Port Said

Yet the real God father of the Port Said under ground or secret what ever you call it from resistance was major Kamal El-Sayed , a police officer who had a past experience in resistance and worked with the intelligence  during the existence of the British Canal Military base, El-Sayed was the coordinator of the operations in Port Said ,as I said he was considered as the God father of the resistance and that according to Port Said online despite the existence of many important names , real important names from the special forces and Egyptian intelligence

The groups of the resistance were 8 groups "check this chart from Dr.Yahia El-Shaer,already I am sorry that it is only in Arabic , I swear if I have time I would translate it " , yet there were more of the Fadeyeens groups coming to the city under the siege through the Manazla lake ,the number of those external groups reached to 5 groups and this according to Portsaid online

The head quarter or the operation room of the resistance was in the office of the officer Detective in the upper floor of the El-Arab Quarter police station , and they hided the wireless in the house of someone you probably read his name frequently in this series Dr Yahia El-Shaer , they hided it in El-Shaers house , already young Yahia El-Shaer and his brother were member in the resistance and before that they were members in the national guards.

  •  There is a very unique story as their Mother late Mrs Amina bravely saved the wireless and the Egyptian officer who was sending telegram when the following happened, the British knew there was some wireless some where in the area as they got the signal, and thus the order came to the British soldiers to search every house , every flat ,every room and every crack to find that bloody wireless , already lady Amina bravely hided the device and the man with his submachine in the closet of her bed room , when she knew they were searching in the neighborhood, when they came to their apartment ,as soon as they entered and began to search ,she pretended to be panic and fainted ,yes she faked her fainted ,of course all the neighbors gathered and so ,when the British saw that scene ,they freaked out and left the house without searching the rest of the rooms ,the last thing they wanted was a public anger because of freaking out a lady ,already here are the pictures of the wireless that El-Shaer family hided in their house

The Egyptian resistance as any resistance in world began to have its publicity flyers whether the encouraging flyers or the English flyers from the kind "Johnny you are so dead ,you are going to die in Port Said..etc" {Johnny was the name the Egyptians used to call  on any British soldier},The one who used to write it down with famous Journalist "Mustafa Shardy" along with others and they were called the  "Hatshama group"and they worked in a very small print shop of Mr Mohamed Shaker Maklof  and Mr Magrabi, and the first flyer was to encourage the people in Port Said and it held the title "We Will fight,We will fight" from the famous historical speech president Nasser said in Al-Azhar mosque on the 2nd of November 1956 "You can read the full speech in Arabic from here or here and English here,You can download it here from BBC Arabic . The English flyers used to reach to the British camps by either two ways from the Fadeyeens , the commandos or the Cyprus workers from the British base in Cyprus who came with the British army , already the Greeks and Cypriots stood beside the Egyptians in that war

The transportation of the weaponry to Port Said was a big problem not an easy with the city under a siege , it was even worst from smuggling the weaponry to Hezbollah, anyway Major El-Sayed thought about the fishermen in Al-Manazla lake , they were many but the choice was hard because it was a very critical thing ,in the end he chose a certain family from fishermen , the "Abd El-Manams" who used to hide the weapons under the fish in their boats. Transferring the weapons was a very dangerous mission yet the people didn't fear from it and thus you would find that even young ladies joined this mission, for example a lady that appears in the Al-Jazeera special documentary about the resistance Mrs Zeinab ,who recalls who she transferred the weapons inside her car and her little niece was beside her , and how the British soldiers stopped her and asked her about herself and the kid , Zeinab wisely and boldly answered him saying that the kid's name was Abd El-Nasser , and even before the soldier opened his mouth ,he found that people began to gather and thus he let her go , already people gathered to see what the problem of that officer with that lady and that fricked the officer ,the last thing they wanted to do was to raise sensitive issues

The operations of the secret resistance ranged from the defense of the city then spying and collecting information about the invaders to dangerous and violent operations of kidnapping and killing

For example the people used to hunt down the soldiers by putting snipers on the roofs and on higher floors in the building which made the British mad and bombed the buildings madly

Also the Fadeyeens used to steal "I don't know if it is the proper word" the weapons of the British soldiers and thus the orders came from the high command of the British army to its soldiers to attach the weapons on their bodies and not to roam alone but with a group on the 8th of November 1956 ,of course this didn't stop the resistance

Next time Insh Allah I will share you specific successful operations of the honorable resistance

Suez War 1956 and the Resistance on Al-Jazeera news channel

Al-Jazeera News channel on the 50th anniversary of the trio attack on Egypt

The duration is 5 minutes

The lady News anchor is Syrian Eman Banorah

It is Arabic and included a news report about Suez War and the Resistance in the city ,the lady wearing black "Zeinab El-Kafarawy " that appears in the beginning was transferring weapons :)

There are other big names from the resistance in it Ali El-Zengry who participated in kidnap of the Mooreshouse ,and the hero Mohamed Maharn who was brutally tortured in an incident that is considered now a war crime ,also a rare footage for the print shop where they used to print the resistance flyers

The background music is by Egyptian Music composer Yasser Abd El-Rahman from the Original soundtrack of the Egyptian film "Nasser 56"

The man in the report is the famous Hussein Abd El-Ghany ,the head of Al-Jazeera Bureau whom the Egyptian security doesn't like that much but I like him

Le Resistance 1956 in Port Said "The beginning"

One thing you can know for sure about the Egyptian people , they are peaceful so peaceful with their rulers that you may find them so passive under the worst kind of dictators since the pharaoh to the modern age ,you already don't need various examples to prove this ,you can see it crystal clear , yet on the other side those peaceful people turn in other times in to active monsters that defend fiercely their land

Through out our history since the Haksoos from 2000 B.C to the IDF from 30 years , all our invaders faced resistance from our great People who refused to be ruled by an external invader ,the resistance ranged from the passive Gandhi style to the secret French WWII resistance style to the Vietnamese resistance combat style

So don't be surprised  if you find out that the Egyptian people resisted the invading forces of UK,France and Israel fiercely in 1956 that in the Arab world it considered as a role model , if you watch El-Manar TV accidentally ,the spokesTV of Hezbollah in Lebanon ,you can find them speaking about the great Egyptian people and their resistance in Port Said

Here I am not speaking about the army ,the Egyptian army with all the respect and pride I feel about it , but I am speaking about the resistance of my people . Most Internet sources written in English or any other language other than Arabic always ignore this resistance , sometimes totally , and sometimes they underestimate it . Just like the Britain's small war Website , you can find here and there in the personal testimonies of war 1956 veterans that there was some kind of Egyptian resistance yet it was not a powerful one in their eyes !! well I have to disagree with that may be because I am bias as they are bias too to their country and army , two evidences that prove the power of this resistance is that the Anglo and French armies couldn't advance more than Port Said to reach Ismalayia to have a full control on the Suez canal area as they wished ,no they were stuck in Port Said , number two the hidden British and French casualties numbers from dead and injured till now "Read this till the end "already I wrote a post about this point with more links but the problem that I found it would take a whole five pages in word :)"

I believe the resistance of Portsaid in Egypt was a great one , all the people joined it from all ages ,you will be surprised to find that teenagers not older than 18 years did great things , full of courage and the examples are many , Women also participated in the resistance from old women to young ladies to mothers to teenagers

Another thing I want to clarify something I see and feel it , that the Suez canal city people hated so much the inequity between the foreigners and them as Egyptians before the revolution ,they didn't hate the foreigners but they hated the treatment ,and this due to two facts the first one was the unfair treatment of the Universal company of the Suez canal already the French newspaper of "Liberation" used to attack the company which had a great position in France then for their bad treatment and low wages to the Egyptian employees and workers , the second one was the British army base in the canal and their careless and wild racist behavior ,you can hear from the elder of Port Said that it was common that if a British officer  or a French person crushed with his car an Egyptian and killed him , he would get through it ,well it didn't change much now , rich Arabs from the gulf and rich kids from Egypt kill other Egyptians in all over the republic and nothing still happen in return

The resistance in Port Said was like the french resistance a secret one , a group effort from both the people and the Egyptian army

This secret resistance wasn't something new the people Port Said didn't know before  , in fact they knew it very well since Mustafa Basha El-Nahas announced in 1951 in a powerful historical speech in the parliament that he made the treaty of 1936 for Egypt and on that day he canceled it for Egypt , since that moment the Egyptian resistance across the canal was born , in fact I remember that I saw some of the resistance flyers of "Johnny you are dead" and so on in some book in my grand father's library "May Allah bless his soul" from that period ,already my grand dad covered the battle of Ismalayia there "May be one day I will speak about it because it was a very unique experience"

For example many of the names of the resistance heroes , were already had a past experience in the patriotic work against invaders for example Late police major Mustafa Kamel El-Syad ,who is called the God father of the secret resistance ,Late Journalist Mustafa Shaardi ,late Hamad El-Alfi and other great people

And thus many of the people who joined the resistance in 1956 already had a great

already immediately after the announcing of the Nationalization of the 26th of July 1956 , the next day the city was taking its precautions because they knew very well whether the city people or the Egyptian leadership that France wouldn't leave the Canal go away as simple as that , same thing for the UK. The Egyptian regime then presented in the army formed with the city something called "The National Guards" , from what I understand they were a civilian force from the city people trained militarily under the army supervision and leadership , they formed from the young men and teenagers

On the 2nd of November 1956 the Egyptian army distributed 50,000 rifles to the resistance and the city people to be prepared to any expected invasion

Here we must understand something ,there were two kinds of resistance in Port Said , the organized Secret resistance which made very successful operations during the existence of the Anglo-French forces in the city after the invasion till their departure , and the public unorganized resistance , which didn't follow any authority or hierarchy , it came from people themselves , for example the resistance of the Port Said people during the invasion operation and individual operations from people themselves who participated in it and risked their lives  for the sake of their land after the invasion

To know the difference or to explain it ,I will give a better example

On the 5th and 6th of November , the people of Port Said along with the Egyptian troops fought the paratroops coming down from above ,whether the British or the French until they succeeded in invading the city through bombing the resistance areas from the air fighters, the Anglo-French armies saw a bitter fighting from every where ,from buildings to trees to houses , in a way they didn't imagine it ,that they became crazy enough to bomb the houses and even to go in to the Abbasid Mosque in the city to search for the resistance members killing many women, children and elder and taking weapons from the police

Yet when the order to cease fire came on the 7th ,the city of Port Said saw the first organizing of  the secret resistance

and next post you will know more about the secret resistance in Port Said ,Le Resistance I call it

The Palestinian Jews

Ok this is the first time I hear or read about this unique minority in Palestine before

The "Samaritans" ,that is their name and they got very interesting history and beliefs

You can  see a flash presentation about them in Al-Arabya

You can click here

the problem that it is in Arabic smile_confused,anyway I can translate the main points because they are very important

  • They are the smallest Jewish sect in the world ,their population now is only 670 and they consider them totally Palestinians , and their majority lives in mount Gerizim in the south of  Nablus in Palestine while the minority lives in "Holon" in the green line between Palestine and Israel
  • The Samaritans believe that Jerusalem should be the capital of Palestine despite they got an Israeli id which was given to them by the Israel to facilitate their interaction and communication with the Samaritan in Holon, their loyalty is for Palestine
  • They say that their history goes back to more than 3000 years B.C ,and that they have the oldest version of the Torah and that is why they are called "Samaritans" {from their point of view} , they also say that they didn't live this mount of Gerizim since 3600 B.C
  • They speak Arabic , the elder can speak Hebrew and in their prayers they speak the Samaritan Hebrew
  • The division between the Samaritans and the rests of the Jews happened after 200 years from Prophet Moses"PBUH"
  • The mount Gerizim is holy for them, already they believe that It was where the Holy Temple was built on
  • Already they believe that Prophet Soliman "PBUH" lived on that mount and built the famous Holy temple there and that is according to the Torah they have
  • Their high priest  "Abd El-Mo'ian" {The name is Islamic Arabic one ,it reminds with the names of the Karaite Jews} says that the name of Jerusalem was never considered as holy or power place in their Torah and that is the main difference between them and the rest of the Jews and the reason why they spilt
  • The differences between them and the rest of the Jews reach over 6000 differences !!
  • They are great astronomers ,that they can identity and know their feasts's dates accurately from the Lunar months from the next 100 years , already it turned out that some Muslims in Nablus ask them to identify the dates of Ramadan and Eids
  • Yet their astronomy is a a sacred secret no one from the public know it ,only the priests from generation to another swear they won't expose it
  • They don't believe in Talmud just like the Karaites and thus they don't believe in the State of Israel
  • There are huge similarities between Islam and the Samaritan Jewish practices , for example their prayers also contains sujud and kneeling , also their prayers are proceeded with washing 'Wuodo" just like in Islam

Farewell Majida El-Khatib

She was nit like any other actress in Egypt for sure , she has this thing that makes you feel comfort even in her evil roles

Majida El-Khatib

The famous Egyptian actress from the 1960s surprised everyone when she died  in the age of 63 after a diabetic coma

May Allah bless her soul in these days and give patience to her family ad friend

I always remember her as Samara in "Chitchat on the Nile ", this fantastic role in a fantastic movie  ,the Egyptian journalist who exposed a new hidden world in Naguib Mafouz's master piece

I also will remember her role in the political thriller "The Dune visitor" this movie is prohibited to be shown in National TV ,it is something like the "Karnak"

I will always remember her role in "Raya and Sakina" TV series as the greedy cruel mother of Raya and Sakina ,who boldly with no guilt takes her grand daughter 's corn to eat it otherwise she would say that her grand daughter stole it

By the way it was a surprise to me to find that she was the grand daughter of Zaki Rostom ,the Legendary drama star whom I used to be scared from in the black and white movies

Beep Beep Ahly ,the 3rd on the world

This is from the happy news , the few happy news nowadays that bring happiness and pride to the Egyptian people , you know make them proud to be Egyptians as they have some world achievement

Thanks God for the bless of El-Ahly , the number one football team in Egypt,Arab world and Africa

Yesterday Egypt was almost paralyzed at about 12 AM ,students didn't attend their schools or universities , workers employees and even employers took a permission for three hours and some didn't even attend their work , only women and girls went to their jobs, schools and universities

All boys and men gathered in cafes that have ART channels , as the greedy Shekih Salah Kamal aired the matches of the Clubs world cup in Japan exclusively in his channels for fees and people won't pay monthly fees for a couple of months for just two matches , already I know a person who reserved a chair in the cafe since 8 AM !!

Anyway yesterday Mohamed Abu Tarika became not only the best player in Fifa world club cup for 2006 but also the maker of the Egyptian victories internationally nowadays and provider of happiness to the Egyptian people who are starving for one single moment of happiness , as I was saying Mohamed Abu Tarika gave to Egypt and all Ahly fans around the world the victory of a life time when he shaked the goal of Mexican Club America with two fantastic goals ,really fantastic I saw them in the rewind last night and thus the result was 2-1 and El-Ahly for the first time became the 3rd of the world :)

Congratulations to all Al Ahly fans

To the souls of Salah Selim and Mohamed Abd El-Wahab

And Mucho gracias Jose Manual

and Beep Beep Ahly

May be one day I will tell the history of that club El-Ahly which means in Arabic the National :)

The Anglo-French war crimes in 1956 war

The British and French armies also had their share in the book of dishonor war crimes ,just like this co-partners then IDF

Of course the French army would take the second place after the IDF , already they had a long history in violence ,racism and disrespect to those who they invaded and occupied their countries , well Algeria is the best example ,the country of one million martyr ,so it is no surprise to find the coming facts

From the French Régiment Parachutiste Colonial ex-member Pierre Leulliette's book who was immediately banned by the French government after its publication in year 1964 ,the book is available only in English as a British publishing house published it in an English translation after the French banning !! Anyway he republished again in France under the title of "War in Algeria". In his book "St.Michael and the Dragon: Memoirs of Paratrooper"

In the following pages he mentioned very important and bitter incidents

In pages "208-209" on Tuesday the 6th,the French paratroopers shoot the fishermen who were hiding from them in very cold blood ,the details are shocking I found it in the details

in page "218", there is a great incident that shows the boldness of an Egyptian POW officer who stood against the arrogance of a French officer who want to humiliate him in front of his soldier by making him clean the floor with a broom ,in summary the Egyptian officer with a dignity threw the broom in to the face of the french arrogant officer who with his captain decided to teach this Egyptian a lesson by killing him in a cold blood with submachine guns and he was buried in the sand as simple as this

In another book by another author from the other co-partner Britain there are other bitter facts

Julian Thompson wrote in his book "The Royal Marines from sea soldiers to special forces" in pages "485-486" Mr Thompson mentioned the testimony of a British officer who was sent to second the French troops on Port Fouad as he can speak French ,it was LT N.F.Vox then who reported the unethical French practices

Vox witnessed the French Légion étrangère way to stop riots and protests by killing 6 people who seemed to lead the riot as simple as it is , in a cold blood with no regret, he also mentioned how the British troops opened their fires on a boat in Lake Manzala , killing the two Egyptian crew members and fricked out American and soviet journalists who came to cover the war

Already the foreign journalists saw bad and dangerous times in Port Said thanks to the British and French soldiers , of course this due to the feeling that they don't want coverage to they do from crimes

Check Paris Match's correspondent then ,it is as horrible as what it is mentioned above but still worth mentioning

End of the road from Time 1956

In Another book this time by three author we will know another shocking details

The book is "Wings over Suez" and it is about the air battles between the Arabs mainly Egyptian and the Trio of Israel,UK and France ,it was written by three authors from Israel "Shlomo Aloni"and UK "Brian Cull" and "David Nicolle"

in pages "298-299" you will find that British pilots with names, photos, ranks and even air fighters model numbers mentioned shoot fishing boats and fishermen because of boredom!!

Dr.Yahia El- Shaer remembers that survivors of the attack in Port Said informed the Egyptian officials yet the British and French denied the incident !!

To have further reading you can read more in Dr Yahia El-Shaer coverage ,already all what you read here is a summary with more links only

The IDF war crimes in 1956 against the Egyptian P.O.W

As usual the IDF did war crimes in the war of 1956 ,it was n't an exceptional to act nasty as we used to know since from 1948 , sorry even before the war of 1948 thanks to the Zionist gangs

And it wasn't strange to me to find that our dear ol' pal Ariel Sharon got a record in the war crimes of 1956 , forget Kafr Kassam for Now and forget the famous Kadima calling check this out

It seemed to me that Sharon started his genocide against the Egyptian P.O.W in 1956

From Caplnet-Ottawa.org ,and from an essay by Dave Himmelstein "seems a Jew to me from his name" under the title "Drawing the Line" published in the year 2005 ,we find the following

"Three years later, during Israel's Suez military campaign an over-eager Sharon defied instructions and sent paratroopers into an ambush in the Sinai desert's Mitla Pass. Later, troops under his command went on to execute over 200 Egyptian prisoners of war, as admitted decades later by a retired army general who had served under Sharon at the time."

why am I not surprised !!??

Well I wasn't surprised when I read about the mass murder of the Egyptian POW and to say the truth I used to think they were from the Egyptian army but the big surprise and shock ,yes shock when I know that they were civilians and their number may not be 200 , no you can add another 0 to the 200

Now check this out from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, from their special programs about the middle east affairs and its section concerning the part of the past and present of the region under the section of witnesses ,you will find a group of translated articles ,that were translated from Hebrew to English by Dr Israel Shahak ,the famous Israel human rights activist who was shocked when Ben Geurion announced the establishment part of King David and Solomon kingdom in 1956 and since then his turned upside down to criticize Zionism publicly in Israel after 1967 and even attacked the Jewish religion and its history "The book is available in Amazon.com too"

The mass murders that happened in 1956 were exposed by journalist Amir Oren who was working as a military correspondent for the Israeli newspaper then "Davar" , now by the way he works as a military correspondent for Haaretz, the IDF and the Israeli government couldn't stop the publish of these articles due to prior publications according to Shahak, the articles were then re-published as I guess and compiled by journalist and writer Ronal Fisher in Israeli famous Tabloid "Maariv" on August the 8th 1995

I am not going to include the whole article of the Mass Murders , I will only mention parts and you can read it in the Website itself ,insh Allah I will include them

Another thing the following articles are provoking and sad , with bitter facts about Egyptians who lost their lives and their government and regime through the different 3 leaderships didn't give a damn for them at all , they were not army soldiers and officers like in 1967 but they were Egyptian public works employees from the civil engineering, some of them if not most of them were wearing white Jellabas you know the road workers ,I won't call them poor people , but instead they were our people from upper Egypt and Delta :(

here is part ,the rest are shocking confessions by ex generals ,officers and soldiers who either saw or participated in Mitla's crossing Massacre and Ras Sadr not to mention the road to Sharm , they were Egyptians,Palestinians and even Sudanese too in the death toll

It began on Monday, October 29, 1956, at exactly 16:59. Paratroopers' Battalion 890 under the command of Raphael (Raful) Eitan was parachuted on the eastern side of the Mitla pass, deep in enemy territory. This was the first moment of the war, to be known later as the Suez War.There were 395 fighters, including the commander, Raful, who participated in the jump. While they were still hovering between heaven and earth, the soldiers identified two large tents on the eastern side of the Mitla pass. They did not open fire from the air nor were they able, at that stage, to determine exactly who was there. Later it became clear. They were civilians, Egyptian public works employees, who happened to be at the place where the Israeli army commanders decided to parachute their force. They were captured and taken prisoners. Two days later, after the awaited link-up was made with Division 202, Sharon assumed command in Mitla and Raful's battalion was ordered to move on to Ras Sudar. The Egyptian workers who had been captured on the first day of the parachuting were not loaded on the trucks and did not join the battalion which began to move to the south in a convoy, nor were they transferred to Sharon's soldiers. In fact, none of the soldiers of Battalion 890 can testify to having seen them alive after the force packed up and left.

The rest of terrible confessions

I mean it is hard and sad to read that your follow people are considered as pain in the butt ,idiots ,stupid's and like dogs and that's why they must be killed in the middle of no where despite the international treaties and despite the human ethics , they can't be be soldiers ,they were thieves and criminals

Now what I am going to write down was based upon watching a weekly show called "The story and what is in it" presented by famous Rola Kharsa on the first channel of the Egyptian TV , it was after Qana 2 Massacre in Lebanon and it was about the war crimes of the IDF in the war of 1956 , I believe the episode was aired after the 50th anniversary of the nationalization of the Suez Canal to say the truth

I didn't see the whole show , I only saw two of her guests and they were enough to me to make me write down this post in order to preserve their testimonies from being forgotten

The first guest I saw was an old Egyptian doctor who used to work in Gaza in one of its hospitals,I don't remember which one really ,but I will search

The old man said horrible things of what the IDF did in the city and in the hospital from massive killing operations that I believe can be called genocides in a better definition

They once broke in to the hospital ,kept all the doctors and nurses in a room and closed a door and went in to a specific ward full of young men injured from the battles and opened their fires on them and then returned back and opened the door for the doctors and nurses and left as if nothing happened !!

Well that incident is nothing compared to what the old man said after it

The man swears that he saw a Palestinian girl being rapped by the some IDF soldiers in the yard of the hospital, no one was able to save her from them as the IDF soldiers threatened anyway would come closer ,they  would shot him dead ,it was humiliating to their manhood as the old doctor said , so sad ,the scene was terrible ,they were and the man himself described as his worst moment in his long life "he is in the 80s now "

The second guest after that man was a Palestinian lady she seemed in her mid 60s,when the invasion to Gaza she was staying with her family in one of the refugees camp where they saw massacres happened with their eyes and no one in the world talked about it as usual

It is very sad and very cruel and unjust that we don't remember or mention the war crimes the IDF did in Gaza and Sinai against the Egyptians and Palestinians

The War crimes from torture and genocides are from the crimes that are let down for seniority ,I swear if we can gather more testimonies for people  who lived and saw those war crimes ,we can present it to the IJC or at least we can make the whole world see the reality of the IDF as a racist attacking aggressive sadistic army , come on the Genocides of the Armenian people that happened in WWI are still remembered !!

I ask you for a moment of silent in respect to Dr Israel Shahak who translated the confessions of the IDF officers about the mass murders in Sinai to English

and I beg to pray and read the Fatah if you are Muslim or pray what ever your religion is for the soul of those great people who were killed in Sinai and Gaza

And I beg you again when you go to Ras Sadr or cross the Mitla crossing in Sinai to remember for one second that once upon there were people who killed there

And thank you

Another thing Ariel Sharon may be dead , but Aryeh Biro is still alive we can sue him in IJC if we are really so patriot

The UN and Suez War Crisis : A Walk to Remember

The United Nations general assembly issued resolution No.1001 "ES-1"  ,resolution came fair to Egypt mostly thanks to Both Hammarskjold and Canadian minister of external affair Lester Pearson "who won a Nobel Prize for Peace in 1957 for his great efforts in to bring peace in that crisis",already Canada disapproval to the war threatened the union of the common wealth

The resolution No.1001 was proceeded by other two resolution issued on the 4th and the 5th of November 1956 yet 1001 was mostly remember for two reasons

First it was the first time "may be the last time too" the United Nations general assembly used one of its extensive powers and issue a resolution all parties related to it ,implied to it , it was from the rare times and may be the only Time Israel was obligated to imply to UN resolution"

The Suez Crisis never made it to the security council simply because according to resolution 377 of the general assembly ,the security council failed to "exercise its primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security", as a result of the "lack of unanimity of the permanent members", already you UK and France got Veto power and U.S.S.R and U.S got Veto too ,two Permanent member were already an associate in the problem ,I think that something new you didn't know

Mr Hammarskjold was a very good secretary general

Here is a Time cover in year 1956 , presenting Hammarskjold on the cover and both the UN flag and the map of Egypt ,the part of Suez Canal and Sinai ,with three rifles in the west and east coast of the Suez canal and on the borders of Sinai presenting the Peace Keeping forces which would take place in the following places
