Jake Gyllenhaal ,the new heart breaker from "Brokeback Mountain" agreed on acting a new movie where he portrays the Character of a C.I.A profiler whose life will change 180'0 degrees after attending an interrogation session in one of the secret C.I.A prisons in Egypt performed by the Egyptian secret Police

I don't know which is more interesting being a C.I.A profiler who got sick from the Egyptian police techniques , or that this C.I.A profiler is the sweet sissy from the Brokeback Mountain , I don't know

But I know what the Egyptian media would say if this movie really came out to the lights

• A Zionist attempt to insult the Egyptian Police
• A gay is insulting our Police "despite he is straigth"
• "You won't break us gay cowboy "
• The interior Minister denies the existance of C.I.A prisons in Egypt "Because simply the C.I.A uses the outsourcing , they sent them to Egyptian prisons"

Really we are humiliated enough from this regime ,when we will be humiliated like this

Look I am Egyptian , and one of the interesting characteristics in Egyptians that they hate their rulers and regimes and curse them day and night but they don't like anyone from outside to do so

especailly when it is Jake Gyllenhaal , the winner of best kiss in MTV Movies Awards 2006 !!

Anyway but what do  you expect from a sissy like Gyllenhaal to act in an interrorgation session in Egypt ??

It is more a social verb from the Egyptian common language , he will ramdan with his family , with his son in Alexandria or where ever

Unfortunately this verb is venishing , not many young people are familiar with it despite its beauty. Even me , the first time I hear it with from two days when my grand ma was speaking with her sister

"x" is going to ramdan with his son

I guess there is no such verb in the world in any language for Ramadan like in Egypt

Ramadan Karim to all of you , Ramadan , one of the holiest months in Islam is just few days away , it will be either on Saturday or Sunday "most people say that it will be on Sunday"

I was and is still busy with my family as a girl for Ramadan's preparation , already known to be connected heavily with Food as it is the month of fasting ,each house in Egypt must make the same preparation from food stock

Beside the usual food stuff from vegetables, meat and chicken , all the people are busy buying the Ramadan Yamysh

Ramadan Yamysh is the collection of special nuts and drinks for Ramadan , the word "Yamysh" I believe can be traced to either Turkish ottoman roots from the Turkish rule to Egypt "as the word is strange to Arabic " or the Fatami roots from the Fatamis rule to Egypt "as most of our national food habits are traced back to this era"

Ramadan Yamysh also got another Arabic equivalent "Noqol" "نقُل"

Ramadan Yamysh consists of nuts , lots and lots of nuts mainly from hazelnut ,Cachou, ..etc and other nuts that used either for direct usage or for stuffing other Ramadan desserts like Kahtief and Konafah

Also it contains delicious Herbs , so those herbs to be boiled with water for some will give the most delicious Egyptian drinks to be served cold ,like Karkadah or Tamr Hendi or many other

Also it contains dried fruits like Peaches and resins , they are used to make a dessert called "Khoshaf"

The main thing that any Yamysh must have is "Kamar El Din" which is square bars made of Peaches , not dried but made in another way , this "Kamar El Din" is boiled and served either like a drink "it is a must in every breakfast in Ramadan to have a glass bottle or flagon of it" or as cold budding " Yummy

The best types of "Kamar El Din" and most expensive ones are those made in Syria , as Syria got the best Peaches in the world

The Noqol or Yamysh is not that cheap but it is types and qualities , of course the best ones are the most expensive

Yamysh is an Egyptian habit in Ramadan which is transferred to other Arab countries in the region

Ramadan won't be Ramadan without Yamysh

I don't if it was fate or what when two of the greatest comedy legends in Egypt and the Arab world pass away in a short time. First it was Gaddo Abdo now it is Amo Fouad. From two days ago Actor Fouad El-Mohandas had passed away in the hospital ,after long struggle with a heart disease, it was the irony of time when he entered the hospital to be treated from his heart on the same day his long time co-actor and friend Abd El-Monam Madbooly passed away from couple of months

Fouad El-Mohandes by the way is the brother of the great anchorlady of Egyptian radio "Safia El-Mohandes", he got only one son ,Mohamed and he was married twice , the most famous marriage and the longest was with long time another half Shewiikar , forming the most famous duet from the 50s to the 70s , Shewiikar is said to be very sad now.

El-Mohandes was known in 1950s and 1970s for his comedy movies , they were n't serious ones , usually making fun from other western movies like "Wax Museum" or "James Bond movies" like in "Women's slayer" or "The most dangerous man in the world" , or simple comedy from the society like "Shanbo in the trap" or "a husband confessions" {my favorites" ,he also presented wonderful plays in the 60s and 50s most of them were directed by Madbooly and most of them were based upon international plays like "My fair lady".

Yet unfortunately in the 70s ,El-Mohandes and comedy in Egyptian cinema began to lose its tough , with stupid topics similar to silliness , in this time he stopped presenting movies except for one or two ,I remember from them "Viva Zalata" which was a spoof movie from Quinn's"Viva Zapata". he then continued working in theater,radio and television

In television in the 80s and 90s ,till two years ago he used to have his children show "Amo Fouad" "Uncle Fouad" , where it became his nickname in press and public in those three decades

In radio , his first home ,he was presenting a very critic shot program called "Two words and half" criticizing the society

By the way I may be from the lucky few from the young generation who were lucky enough to hear the early episodes of "an Hour for your heart" where Fouad El-Mohandes made his first debate as a comedian through the radio , he had this wonderful duet with khaira Ahmed better known as Mahmoud and his noisy picky boring wife "Ya Mahmooooooud" , in shallah I upload the episodes to Box.net so all of you can hear it

Fouad El-Mohandas was a great comedy actor whether in cinema or TV or radio or theater , yes I don't like him as I like Abd El-Monam Madbooly more but still I can't deny the talent of El-Mohandes in comedy but Madbooly for me was a great actor whether in Drama or Comedy ,while El-Mohandes didn't change color from comedy to drama . anyway God bless them both , both great made and are making people and I believe they will continue making people happy in the future with God's will, may God bless his soul ,we sure we are going to miss him this Ramdan

It is very interesting when you find those mistakes and those ironies in his provoking scientific speech , whether from quoting some Byzantine  emperor quote about Prophet Mohamed ,regardless the historical facts ,that this Byzantine emperor was living under the Islamic siege and regardless that the Church in Rome fought the Christian Byzantine eastern church for centuries

What I am going to speak about is not the old Quote ,but the versus of Quran the Pope mentioned and said that the experts of the Quran know very well that the versus 200 something in the second soraa where it states that there is no compulsion in religion came to Mohamed "PBUH" when he was weak in the beginning of the Islam

Really I laughed because it showed how the Pope is very ignorant ,I am sorry to say it , but it doesn't need to be an expert in Quran to know that this is false from the beginning to the end, I am not an expert in Quran but I know what is in my Quran very well as I read it

Here are some points my dear Non-Muslim friends and visitors should know about :

• The Quran is not arranged by which versus came first
• The second Sura {El-Baqra/The cow} was revealed in Madina when Prophet Mohamed made the first Islamic nation or state there , its greater part was revealed in the holy prophet's "PBUH" life in Madina as it contained many rules and teachings regarding life, the small part in the end was releaved near the end of the life of "Prophet Mohamed" PBUH
• The versus that the Pope mentioned is exactly number 256 in 002 ,if we are going to speak accurately , the Pope mentioned only part of it , here is the complete aya :

 Let there be no compulsion in Religion :Truth stands clear from Error ;whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah ,had grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks, And God hearth and knows everything

• This aya was revealed when enthusiasts Muslims said that they will force their kids to become Muslims and historical this was after the victory on the Bani-Khodair Jew tribes in the Madina
• The second Sura that was revealed to Prophet Mohamed "PBUH" is "El-Muddaththir" {74},if we are speaking about the sequence of revelation , it was in the first year in Mecca

Officially the public schools and Universities started their new school year yesterday on the 16 of September , today was the private schools day

whether Public or Private ,I really love one thing regardless the usual morning and afternoon traffic jams,

I love the calm quiet noon , no children screams , no boys playing football , no high schoolgirls hanging in malls

really don't you notice that the first two days in the new school are so quiet and peaceful

This is a movie I saw last week ,it is a french movie and its title means in English "Mr. Ibrahim and the flowers of Quran"

It is starring the famous international actor Omar El-Sherif of Egypt

The movie made lots of news when it was released last year for its story which is based upon a novel with the same name.As you can know so easily that it speaks about Islam from reading the two words "Ibrahim and Koran" ,well it is about Islam.Already the author of the novel is a french man who converted to Islam and joined the Sufism movement.

I didn't read the book but I saw the movie and so my review would be based upon my experience with the film .

Story : In the early of 1960 in France,Paris exactly in the poor street of "Blue street" that was full of Jews , Arabs and also hookers, in this street we will follow the life of young teenager "Moses" from the name you know that he was Jew, Moses was born in a troubled family , a mother that left him and his father as soon as she gave birth to him and troubled sick father who seems mentally ill to me. In this troubled life ,the only thing that was in Moses' mind all the time despite his early age was sex and thus it was n't a surprise to see him lose his virginity with a hooker from the street after lying and saying that his age was 16 years.

Moses ' life began to change when his dad sent to buy some stuff from a grocery store in front of his home , the Arab's grocery store , where he was going to meet the man who would change his life upside down , turning him from Moses to Mohamed , a man called Ibrahim .

I will not tell you the rest of the story because I believe you probably guessed what is all about and how it would end.A Jew that will convert to Islam after experiencing the nobility of its teachings .

I don't want to disappoint you but the movie is not on that expected standard , you see our Egyptian newspaper were speaking day and night about this movie and how it gives the Islam its right real image ,and how Omar El-Sherif was a great actor in "already he took a Caesar prize in France "equal to the Oscar" and festival of Venice award " ,yet when I saw it I found it so so so boring .

And that's why I said that I didn't read the book , because usually the books are much better than movie so the story could be very good in the book but on the silver screen very bad. I didn't see anything that related to Islam that or gives to the western viewer the real truth of the nobility of its teaching ,all what I saw is a troubled teenager who was crazy about sex with ugly hookers"they looked very ugly" and an old Muslim Sufi man who didn't to be called an Arab as if an Arab were insult , who didn't pray ,who drunk wine and read minds because it is there in his Quran

You know I thought that the flowers of Quran is a metaphor for the beautiful meanings and teachings of Quran , but it didn't turn so ,it turned that Ibrahim put some old dried flowers in his late wife's Quran !!

It is not bad but it is not that good

أصبحنا و اصبحت المرأة  المصرية  اخيرا فى القرن الواحد و العشرين

انجاز رائع , فقد  استطعت الفتاة المصرية ان تستعيد حقوقها المسلوبة و الضائعة  و المهدورة .....الخ من كلام الانشاء المذكور  و المكرر فى وسائل الاعلام الرسمية مع اهتمام واضح و مركز  على انجازات سيدة مصر  الاولى حرم سيادة الرئيس اللى حررت  البنت المصرية فعلا و اللى لو قارننا انجازاتها مع انجازات قاسم أمين هتكسب بالضربة القاضية

مؤاتمرات و احاديث فى التلفزيونات و الراديو و الجرايد على انجازات المرأة  و انها نصف المجتمع

كلام جميل و كلام معقول ما قادرش اقول حاجة عنه لكنه فى نهاية كلام و الكلام مش بفلوس زى المثل الشعبى ما بيقول

للاسف الكلام ده كلام مش موجود على ارض الواقع

فى اوائل القرن العشرين اصدر قاسم أمين كتاب اربك المجتمع المصرى الذكورى ,الكتاب ده اللى وصفه كثير من الناس بانه بدعة و كل بدعة ضلالة و كل ضلالة فى النار كان بيدعو لاعادة حقوق المرأة فى القرن العشرين طبقا لشريعة الاسلامية التى اتت من السماء من 14 قرن مضى من حقوق مسلوبة من جميع النواحى من تعليم و عمل و ملكية و ميراث 

المجتمع المصرى الذكورى وقتها كان بيهجم الكتاب لانه بيدعو للسفور و التشبه بالغرب !! حجج  بايخة و  غبية و تدل على جهل شديد و  الغريب ان حتى الآن بعد مرور مئة سنة على صدوره  لازل  البعض بيتهم الكتاب و مؤلفه  بنفس الحجج  و الغريب ان ما حدش تعب نفسه و قرأ الكتاب علشان بعرف  مدى مصدقية الاتهامات المنسوبة اليه عارفين ليه لان المجتمع الذكورى المصرى بيرفض اى كلام  حول اعادة  حقوق المرأة المسلوبة اللى هو سلبها منها بالتقاليد التى تعود الى عصر الجاهلية قبل الاسلام

لن اتحدث عن تحرير المرأة و المساواة بينها و بين الرجل على الطريقة الغربية  ,لانى ببساطة  مؤمنة  ان دينى اعطى للمرأة حقوقها و حررها من العادات و التقاليد المتخلفة  اللى للاسف لازلت موجودة  و سبب وجودها حتى الان  و لغاية ما اصبحت اقوى من الدبن نفسه انها بتعطى لرجل سلطة  على المرأة مطلقة 

ابسط الامثال

عدم توريث النساء ميراثهم الشرعى المذكور فى  القرآن  و عالفكرة ده مش موجود  فى الصعيد  بس ,ده كمان  فى الدلتا , زميل قريبتى فى الشغل باحد البنوك بيفتخر ان  ابوه  لم يوزع ميراث عماته علشان الارض متروحش لحد غريب و رغم ابوه مش سايب اى مناسبة عير لما بيكرمهم فيها !!! الغريب ان الرجل  ده يقال  انه  متدين مش عارفة  تدين  اه ده اللى يحرم  الاخرين من حقوقهم  الشرعية !! تماما  زى  ايام  الجاهلية  بس الاختلاف  احنا مسلمين  و فى القرن الواحد و العشرين

االنكد  لما الببيى بيتوالد بنت سيبكو من الفلاحين  و الصعايدة ,شوفتها  بعينى فى الطبقة المتعلمة المتوسطة العليا ,فى عائلتنا واحدة دكتورة متزوجة من عائلة مرموقة و عرق اتراك و الكلام ده  كانت هتموت على ولد لدرجة ارتدائها  الحجاب و سفرها  العمرة علشان    تجيب  ولد بس للاسف  جت بنت طبعا هى و جوزها اتنكدوا  اوى  لدرجة  انها خلعت  الحجاب !! نرجع  برضه  لزميل قريبتى كان هينفجر   من الغيظ لما جاءته تالت بنت زى و صف الاية  الكريمة  فى القرآن

فاكرين قانون الخلع ؟ فاكرين مناقشته فى البرلمان ؟  فاكرين  مدى معارضة الرجال ليه؟ عالرغم انه من الشريعة و خصل وقت الرسول "صلى الله عليه و سلم"

الكلام ده فى اواخر القرن العشرين و بدايات القرن الواحد و العشرين 

امثلة بسيطة  لكنها  بتوضح  مدى المشكلة اللى  بنعانى منها فى المجتمع  المصرى ,حالات  من انفصام  الشخصية شعب بيدعى التقوى و التدين فى حين بيتجاهل تعاليم دينه. تقاليد و عادات و أعراف ما انزل الله بها من سلطان لازلنا بنتمسك بها للاسف على الاقل الرجال بس طبعا المرأة ليها نصيب فى المشكلة دى ,تسليمها و عدم الرغبة فى المحاربة  لحصولها  على حقوقها .  زمان كانوا بيقولوا عدم تعليم البنات هو سبب عدم المساواة و  ها نحن فى القرن الجديد و البنت اصبحت دكتورة  ومهندسة  و وزيرة كمان لكن ياترى  حصل تغير ؟ لو ده صحيح  مكانش فيه  وجود  للامثلة المذكورة  اعلها

الموضوع مش تعليم و خروج للعمل بس

يا جماعة قبل عصر تحرير المراة  السيدات كن يعملن فى الحقول  ختى الان كفلاحات  و كبائعات فى الطبقات الفقيرة  بالعكس الرجل بيدفع المرأة  للعمل فى تلك الطبقات فى بعض الاحيان علشان يأخذ شقها 

بائعة الخبز فى شارعنا جوزها متزوج من ثلاث نساء و هى الثلاثة و الثلاث بيعملن كبائعات خبز  فى الشوارع  و هو لا يعمل  او حتى يحاول الحصول  على عمل !!! تلك السيدة بتعمل  كل يوم حتى  فى الاعياد  

الحل فى ايدينا  كشعب و هو بسيط  زى ما بنعمل الاطفال الصلاة و الصوم و ان  الجنة  تحت اقدام الامهات  نعلمهم حقوق المرأة  فى الاسلام 

نعلمهم ان المرأة المصرية مش  عايزة تحرر على الطريق الغربية و  ان مش كل واحد ينادى باستعادة  حقوقها المسلوبة يصبح علمانى يريد تدمير الانسان

نعلمهم  ان السيدات  كانوا بيحاربوا  ايام الرسول الله  عليه و سلم

نعلمهم ان السيدات  كانوا بيتعلموا و بيعلموا  زى  السيدة  عايشة و السيدة نفسية  رضى الله عنهما

نعلمهم ان المرأة ليست رجس من الشيطان

و قبل ما نعلم الاطفال نعلم النساء حقوقهن و ازاى يدافعن عن تلك الحقوق المسلوبة  

حاجة تانية يجب مناقشتها جدية مجالس المرأة المختلفة ابتدا من المجلس الاعلى للمرأة الى جمعية نوال السعداوى الشهيرة بنوال زينب 

 انا مش شايفة اى اهمية للمجالس دى مع احترامى الشديد ليها يعنى مثلا الدنيا ما قاعدتش فى حكاية  هند الحناوى لكن لما الصحفيات تم التحرش بيهن السنة الماضية عاى مرأى  و مسمع العالم اجمع  على سلم نقابة الصحفيين  لا حس و لا خبر !!! ازادوجية  فى كل شىء .الغريب ان الحركة النسائية  فى مصر بدايتها الفعلية كانت ثورة 1919

حاجة ثلاثة  بما  اننا  فى يوم ليلى فهاقول كل اللى فى نفسى 

حرية المرأة فى مصر مش معناها التحرر من الانفلات الاخلاقى  زى ما فى ناس فهم  انا متحررة يبقى البس  زى مانا  عايزة و اصحب زى مانا عايزة  و اخرج  زى ما نا عايزة مانا حرة بقى  تفكير غبى و عقيم و ضيق و بيعطى فرصة ذهبية  للمتشددين من التيار الوهابى السلفى يهجم حقوق المراة 

الحرية  على طريقة  ايناس  الدغيدى و روبى  مش هى الحل  بالعكس الحرية دى بتسجن المرأة  او تضعها فى القالب الجسد

فى النهاية انا فخورة بيوم ليلى 

و على فكرة انا عندى الديفيدى  بتاع اليوم المفتوح
